Birthdays, Trips, and Fun

The past few weeks have been crazy. We went to yellowstone and had a ton of birthdays.

I turned 12 a few weeks ago. It was the best birthday ever! I got a phone and went to the temple! I am also in Young Womens, finally! I love being 12! You feel so much older. It was my moms birthday too. But, Eli got sick and stayed home. My Great-grandma's birthday was this week too. She turned 101! She didn't know who's birthday it was and why she was there. She didn't even know how old she was!

This summer we didn't go to yellowstone like usual. But, we went last week instead. It was so much fun! When we got there we headed into the park. A few minutes in I spotted a bald eagle! And I spotted it! I never spot things like that. We saw a fox, buffalo, elk, and a mule deer. I decided to take pictures for reflections. I took over 700 pictures in 2 days!

Back to Shcool

A few weeks ago we started school. I am in 6th grade and I love it! My teacher is the nicest teacher in 6th grade. She gives us a lot of work, witch means a lot of homework. We rotate around in different classes for math, science, and social studies kind of like junior high. We have 2nd grade buddies on fridays. I like to have buddies because they are younger than you and they look up to you. I am in traditional school. In my class we have all 4 tracks in my class. So that means one fourth of my class is gone all the time, it is really weird.

I love school and I am exited for my last year in elementary school. :D

Girls Camp!!!

I know it has been a while, but a few weeks ago I went to girls camp. It was a blast! I took some pictures, but I can't put them on the computer. None of them are very good anyway beccause I took them.
The first night was very long. People kept talking and talking and talking. And I could still hear them with my hearing aid out. ( I knew somebody was going to coment on that.) We went to sleep at 1 o'clock. The next day was so fun. I got to help cook breakfast. We had groups that got to help prepare the food. We made indian headbands too. ( This is for all the days. I can't remember what we did each day.) We went on the zip line! It was the best thing ever. Our ward never had a set up time for the zip line, but that is another story. We did pin trading with the whole stake. We did things with out sister ward. And the sister ward for us made us cookies and played games with us. The worst thing was we went on the worst hike EVER! It either went strait up or strait down the whole time. Later we found our the hike was optinal! We made the cutest crafts ever. We made flowers and lanterns for one of our crafts. Every day we had scripture time. We would find somewhere to sit and read our scriptures. The last night we had a testimony meeting with our bishop. We went snipe hunting and we actually caught one! It was cute!
I am probably forgetting some things, but those where the things that stood out the most. It is so fun to go camping with a whole bunch of friends. I am exited to go next year too.

It's Been Crazy

The last few weeks have been very crazy. We have been playing with cousins and trying to do homework. My cousins from Las Vegas came almost every week since they got out of school. We have had so much fun together. Last time they where here we went to lagoon. It started to hail, so it was really cold because we where wet from a ride. We got home late and we still had to go to school. Last night was our last time seeing them for a while, I think.

This week in school we are filming movies. It is really crazy. My teacher stops the camera after every single line. It takes two hours to film a 5 to 7 minute video. My group is filming on Monday. To be honest, my group doesn't really have our script figured out yet. That means it will take even longer. I only have two or three parts in the whole thing and nobody in my group cooperates.

Memorial Day

We had a great Memorial Day yesterday. We went to the cemetery for a ceremony thingy where they read all the names of the vetrens, ( Wich is pretty much everybody in the cenetary.) they sang songs, and they read poems. After that we went to my aunt Juilie's and had lunch. Then we had a water fight with chad. It was AWSOME. When we went home all we did was watch my mom and dad stain the deck. Then homework. Yay. We had a great had a great Memorial Day and I hope you did too. :)

EXITED!!!!

I am very exited for tonight! We are going to my grandmas hause for a sleepover!!!!!!! We are having goolash for dinner and Grandmas famouse cookies. My favorite! In the morning we are going to have homemade waffles! ( homemade batter, not from the box.) All my cousins are going even though I wish it was just the older kids. The lillte kids never go to sleep! They talk and talk and talk! Really loud too. But I am still exited.

A blog finally!!!

I have absolutly no idea how to do this. I am going to have a lot of trouble figuring out how to work this blog. Well, hello people!!! I have been begging my mom almost all week to make me a blog and it finally happened! I also have an e-mail. This week we have been having a lot of fun with cousins. Emma and I had two sleepovers in a row! I didn't sleep in my bed tow days straight! (It may not sound like a long time but it was.) We went kiaking at Tible Lake with Emma, mMaggie, and Gretta too! Emma and I went to the other side of the lake and it was our first time. It was awsome. I will post again later, but for now, Good bye!
